Jasmine Matcha Latte Recipe
Three expressions of jasmine — tea, blossom, and matcha — layered into one glass.
This iced jasmine matcha latte builds its floral character three ways: chilled jasmine tea for a light, tea-forward base; optional jasmine syrup for an extra blossom note; and Misty Lava Jasmine Oolong Matcha for the deep, creamy aroma in the cloud.
The heart of the drink is the matcha itself. It is traditionally scented with fresh blossoms over three rounds, so the floral character is woven directly into the tea before it is stone-milled — not simply added afterward with syrup.
Use jasmine syrup if you want to lean fully into the floral profile; use agave or another sweetener if you want the tea and matcha to lead. Either way, the result is creamy, fragrant, and layered without being heavy.
Made with real flower-scented matcha — not extracts, oils, or a separate tea workaround. 🌸🍵

Jasmine Matcha Latte — Three Ways 🌸
What You’ll Need
Ingredients
- ½ cup (120 ml) chilled jasmine tea
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) jasmine syrup for a triple-jasmine latte — or agave or sweetener of choice to let the matcha shine
- ⅓ cup (80 ml) milk of choice
- Ice
- 2 tsp (4 g) Misty Lava Jasmine Oolong Matcha
- ¼ cup (60 ml) cold whipping cream
Three layers of jasmine: the tea makes a light base; the syrup is an optional extra floral note; and the jasmine-scented matcha gives the cloud its creamy, concentrated aroma. Brew your tea, then cool it completely before making the latte.
Step by Step
Instructions
-
Build the tea base
Add the jasmine syrup, agave, or your preferred sweetener and chilled jasmine tea to a glass. Stir, then fill the glass generously with ice.
Start with a chilled tea base and plenty of ice. -
Add the milk
Pour in the milk. Give the base a gentle stir so the flavors are evenly combined.
The milk creates a creamy base for the floral matcha cloud. -
Make the matcha cloud
Add the jasmine oolong matcha and cold whipping cream to a small bowl or cup. Whisk or froth until smooth, lightly thickened, and airy. The floral aroma should be immediately noticeable.
Whisk until the cream is smooth, airy, and gently thickened. -
Float, stir, and enjoy
Spoon or slowly pour the matcha cloud over the latte. Finish with a light sift of matcha over the foam, if desired. Enjoy the layers as they are, or stir before sipping for a fully creamy drink.
Pour slowly to keep the creamy green cloud on top.

A Floral Latte, Layered Three Ways
The tea brings lift, the optional syrup adds sweetness, and the scented matcha gives the drink its creamy, lasting floral finish.
Because the powder itself is scented with fresh blossoms, its floral character carries through the cloud, the milk, and the final sip. The oolong base gives the drink a gentle tea depth that keeps the sweetness in balance.

Floral Matcha Latte Tips
- Use cold cream for the lightest, most stable matcha cloud.
- Use a small handheld frother if you want a faster, fluffier finish.
- Sweeten gently: agave keeps the floral tea notes clear.
- For a dairy-free version, use barista-style oat milk in the latte and a plant-based whipping cream for the cloud.
- Do not skip sifting if your matcha has clumped; it makes the cloud much smoother.
