As Americans with Viet Kiều (overseas Vietnamese) background, our mission is to connect Vietnam’s extraordinary botanical heritage with the wider world.

From ancient teas to the many plants, herbs, and flavors deeply woven into Vietnamese culture, we celebrate the land’s resilience, creativity, and abundance.

Each taste of Misty Lava is an invitation into ritual — rooted in heritage, open to innovation, and inspired by the beauty of Vietnam.

why “misty lava”?

Vietnam’s Central Highlands, shaped by ancient lava fields and cooled by mountain mist, inspired our name. The region’s red volcanic soil and cloud-kissed mountains create the ideal environment for extraordinary tea.

Our logo, inspired by the Vietnamese conical hat (nón lá), honors the farmers who sustain this craft. Its radiating lines represent the sun, mist, and mountains of Vietnam — and the creativity of its people.
